Ingredients for Making Apple Dumplings

  1. Apples 3 pieces
  2. Eggs 2 pieces
  3. Sugar 1 teaspoon
  4. Wheat flour 1 cup
  5. Salt 1 pinch

Grater, plate, whisk, slotted spoon, pan, tablespoons.


Step 1: beat the eggs.

Break the eggs into a bowl, add sugar to them and beat until lush foam is formed.

Step 2: add apples.

Peel the apples and then grate on a fine grater. You should get about 1/2 cup grated apple pulp. Add it to the eggs with sugar and mix very well to make a homogeneous mass.

Step 3: add the flour.

Add the sifted flour and knead the liquid dough thoroughly. Stir for several minutes to break all the flour lumps.

Step 4: Cook the Apple Dumplings.

Heat the water in a pan, salt it. Bring to a gentle boil and use a tablespoon to dip the dumpling dough into the water. Scoop with one spoon, dip in water and remove the dough with the second.
Cook about 3-5 minutes. Get out of the water with a slotted spoon.

Step 5: serve the apple dumplings.

Serve apple dumplings with breadcrumbs fried with cinnamon in butter. Sour cream, apple jam and natural yogurt will also be good.
