Bean Pasta

Ingredients for Making Bean Paste

  1. Canned white beans 1 can (400 grams)
  2. Garlic 1 clove
  3. Sweet Paprika 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Cumin 1/3 teaspoon
  5. Dried mint 1/2 teaspoon
  6. 1/3 teaspoon chili flakes
  7. Olive oil 2 tablespoons
  8. Lime juice 1 tablespoon
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Ground black pepper to taste
  11. Fresh parsley to taste

Blender, strainer, plate, serving bowl, tablespoon, teaspoon, juicer.

Cooking Bean Paste:

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.


Measure out the right amount of spices right away.
Peel the garlic clove.
Squeeze the juice out of lime using a juicer or simply pierce the flesh with a fork and push.

Flip the canned beans onto a strainer and let the excess water drain. But do not pour out the remaining liquid, save a few spoons, you will need it in the next stages of preparation.

Step 2: send the ingredients to the blender.


Send dried canned beans to the blender bowl.

Add garlic, all the necessary spices (by the way, you can control their quantity to taste). Pour in lime juice and olive oil. Add to them 2-3 tablespoons liquids from under beans.

Step 3: grind the ingredients.


Turn on the blender and beat everything until a uniform bean mass is obtained. You can add a little more liquid to your taste so that the paste comes out less thick.

Step 4: serve the bean paste.


Transfer a uniform creamy paste from beans to a bowl in which you will serve everything on the table.

Garnish with fresh parsley leaves, it will add flavor.

Pour a couple more teaspoons of olive oil and that's it! Healthy and delicious bean paste is ready!

Offer juicy vegetables cut into strips, croutons, crackers or crackers to the pasta and eat it all, dipping in a bean cream.
