Ingredients for Making Classic Pasta Salad
- Egg 1 piece
- Yolk 1 piece
- Vinegar 2 tablespoons +2 tea
- Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon (with peas)
- Salt 1 teaspoon (or more to taste)
- Sugar 3/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper 1/4 teaspoon (or more to taste)
- 3/4 cup grape seed oil
- Pasta 450 grams
- Red pepper 1/2 pieces
- 1/2 orange pepper
- Celery Stalk 2 pieces
- Green onion 4 feathers
- Main Ingredients: Onion, Pepper, Pasta
- Serving 8-10
Saucepan, plate, blender, kitchen knife, cutting board, tablespoon.
Step 1: prepare salad dressing.
Break the egg and add the yolk to it.
Send everything to a blender.
Pour in the vinegar.
Add Dijon mustard.
Add sugar and salt.
Close the blender lid and beat until smooth, gradually pouring in grape seed oil. Pour in a thin stream, but without interruption.
You should get a sauce that is completely uniform in consistency, somewhat reminiscent of mayonnaise (in fact, roughly speaking, this is it).
Transfer the sauce to a resealable container and put it in the refrigerator for the duration of the salad.
Step 2: cook pasta.
Boil the salted water in a saucepan and toss the pasta into it in accordance with the instructions on their packaging.
Step 3: chop the pepper.
While pasta is cooked, cut the sweet pepper into small cubes.
Do not forget to clean it from seeds and cut off the whitish partitions.
Step 4: chop the celery.
Cut the celery stalk just as finely as the peppers.
Step 5: chop the onion.
Chop the green onions in small rings.
Step 6: cool the pasta.
After cooking, drain the water from the pasta and rinse it under a cold stream. Dry.
Step 7: mix all the ingredients.
Mix in a bowl all chopped vegetables.
Add the cooled pasta to them and mix well.
Step 8: season the salad.
Add about 3/4 of the cooked dressing and mix.
Try, maybe you want to add more dressing or salt / pepper salad.
Place the cooked salad in the refrigerator to serve chilled to the table.
Step 9: serve a classic pasta salad.
Classic pasta salad is not the main course, it is a side dish. Garnish for meat, poultry and even fish. In summer, this salad is ideal for picnics. Cook it if you are planning to cook grilled meat or barbecue.
